Packard Bell D135
By the early 1990s, Packard Bell was the second largest OEM for IBM PC compatibles in the United States. The Multimedia D135, regarded as a mini-tower, released in 1996. It features a 133MHz Pentium procressor, 16MB of RAM, a 1.2GB hard drive, CD-ROM and floppy drive. Also included was a 28,800bps modem along with Prodigy, America Online, and CompuServe. This very complete computer system still has its matching keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers and microphone, as well as a plethora of original paperwork and software discs. It has been restored to factory condition running Microsoft Windows 95. One particularly interesting feature of many PC compatibles from this era is the ability for the computer to function as an answering machine.
