Music hath charms...

Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) was created in the 1980s as a technical standard for interfacing musical instruments with computers for playing, editing, and recording music. In the 90s, midi files offered a means of distributing and storing a vast library of music long before the advent of high-speed Internet, high capacity hard drives, CD quality MP3s, and the iPod would revolutionize the music industry. It was almost an unspoken rule that every personal Website had to have a midi section where the site's creator could showcase their personal taste in music. Nothing says "90s Website" quite like a carefully curated midi collection!
